The property is one of 20 others on the complex. This is not a standard Spanish “Urbanisation” as visualised through the press in the UK . All the villas are detached and have plots of at least 1100 m2. Casa Isabella is one of the largest villas on the complex and sits on a plot of 2300 m2 in its own grounds.

The plot is completely fenced in and very safe for the younger visitors, albeit tenants are advised to continually supervise children using the pool area. There are electronic gates controlled by a fob key. We have our own stand-by power supply generator in the event of power cuts, that often occur in Spain . We have used materials that are non slip as far as possible, but accidents can still happen with wet feet, especially around the porch area. There are steps upto the main and rear entrances, once inside the villa is all on one level. Tenants requiring wheel chair access will need assistance to enter and leave the main villa and access the pool area, which is elevated.

The bathrooms are not fitted with disabled facilities, albeit the bathrooms are large with a corner bath and walk in shower in the master en-suite room.

Most of the neighbours are British so the communications between the neighbours is good.

The villa lies approximately 1km from the centre of Dolores. By car the journey takes 2/3 minutes or you can walk in 15 minutes along roads. There are quicker ways across fields if you wish to use these. Our local staff will point you in the right direction. There are stables close-by whereby horse riding can be arranged at certain times of the year, however, we cannot guarantee that these will be open when you visit, the Spanish all operate the “Manana” principal sometimes only open when they feel like it. This is quite normal in Spain .

We have a games room in a separate building at the rear of the property with pool (6ft), full size table tennis table, table soccer, darts and board games. The games room can also double as the 5th bedroom sleeping three extra guests. However, the bathrooms are inside the villa and there is no air conditioning in the games room, which gets very hot in the Summer months.

The towns of Dolores and Catral are very quaint dating back to the “Moors & Christians” era in the 14th Century. There is a fine example of that architecture right in the middle of Dolores in the form of a church. There are plentiful shops, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets to choose from.

The nearest beach is located at Guadamar. This is approximately 15 minutes by car. This is very lively town with its nightlife. The beach is fantastic. One word of warning though, do not swim in the Dune area (right hand side of the beach) unless you are a strong swimmer. There are rip tides which can be dangerous. Stay on the main resort area of the beach, this also has life-guards on duty in the peak seasons.

Any visitors to Casa Isabella are advised to hire car/s to make the most of their stay. All the resorts around the Costa Blanca are accessible from the villa by car. We can recommend a reliable car hire company if required.
