The villa is situated approximately 30 miles inland from
Alicante
airport. The drive takes around 30 minutes or so. It lies to the South of Benidorm (45 Minute drive) along the A7 motorway.
This is not a tourist area, it is very typically Spanish. From the front porch you can see Monovar, Sax and
Elda
. There are spectacular views all around the villa of the surrounding hills and mountains.
The area is perfect for walking, climbing, cycling.
Famous for its wine production. There are vineyards all the way between Monovar and Pinoso to the West. The wine produced in the area is of a fruity nature and comes in red, white and rose. You can walk into any bodega and taste it before you buy. The nearest bodega is in Monovar “Primativo Qullies”, by the bull ring.
There are shops in all the local towns. These tend to be smallish shops or boutiques. The nearest main shopping centres are
Alicante
and Benidorm.
The nearest golf course is Allenda, which is a 10 minute drive. This is a top course. There are five other golf courses in the vicinity of
