This outstanding quality villa is built to a very high standard with luxury furnishings through-out. Built in a bungalow style spread over a constructed area of over 360 m2. It sits on a plot of land of 8000 m2 with gardens, surrounded by 22 palm Trees (hence its name) and other types of trees including several fruit trees, in season. The plot is fenced in by an eight feet high chain mesh fence with shades attached for privacy of the tenants. The driveway is away from the nearest road in excess of 300 Mtrs in length. All the windows are shuttered and most are double glazed.
Facilities
Sleeping Capacity & Bedrooms
There are 4 bedrooms in all. There is also a games room (within the building) that doubles up as a 5th bedroom if required with a double sofa bed. This takes the sleeping capacity to 10 adults. We also have small single beds if the tenants group exceeds 10 with children. These extra beds can be placed in most of the bedrooms or at the clients preferred location in the villa.
The master suite is en-suite. The bedroom is very large and has a double bed inside it. There are four stand alone wardrobe units, which have mirrored doors, bedside tables and dressing table. There is ample space inside the units for the customers clothes and other items. The attached bathroom has a large walk in show cubicle, double hand basins, bidet and wc. The fittings are high quality enabling the tenants and guest to relax in comfort. This bedroom also has air conditioning/heating units dependant on the time of year.
There is a second double room with built in wardrobes, bedside cabinets, dressing table and chairs. There is a safe inside the wardrobe bolted to the floor.
Bedrooms three and four are similar to those above, but they have two twin beds instead of doubles. One of the rooms has half an en-suite and air conditioning/heating.
The sleeping quarters are away from the family areas, so it is entirely possible for the guests to stay up late (whilst the younger ones sleep in a safe environment) without interfering with those asleep. This area is accessed by a corridor which can be closed off.
Kitchen
The kitchen is large as is fitted with all the modern appliances that you would need for a short term stay. Generally of white goods, there are an American style fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine (in a utility area next to the kitchen), beer fridge (now in the bar in the games room), toaster, kettle, microwave, electric hob and oven and all the utensils and cutlery for a large family group. There are also a supply of plastic cups and plates for alfresco dining near the pool or BBQ. The hot water boiler is electric and housed in the utility area. There is an atrium for drying clothes in the middle of the villa, but it is outside and accessed from the utility area.
Lounge - Diner
The lounge is a lounge diner (separate room through an arch off the lounge). The furniture in the lounge is leather. There is taste-full reproduction antique type furniture with a bookcase and the books, videos, cd’s, dvd’s for the entertainment system. If you want to take any of these away with you, please replace it with one of your own. We have Sky tv with English speaking channels. The TV also converts to normal Spanish programmes. There is a 5 CD player, Large TV, DVD player and video recorder in the lounge. There is a cabinet for glasses and the likes for your own comfort. The dining table seats six easily with cutlery, mats. For large groups there is another table in the kitchen that can be moved into the lounge for large dinner parties.
Conservatory
Through the lounge to the side door is the conservatory. This is a large area and is furnished with a sofa and two armchairs. It has a dual purpose in that you can relax during the day and watch the children outside and access the patio through the steps through double glazed doors. All the windows are double glazed and they all open for hot days in the sun. During the evening you can sit and admire the superb views across Monovar which are clearly visible through all of the windows. Its fantastic to see the 14th Century church on top of the hill with its blue dome and lit up at night. There are several fiestas during the year, and the Spanish love fireworks. You have a front view seat to watch them or you can go and join them down the town, which is only 1Km down the road.
Games Room
The games room is fitted with its own bar area for your enjoyment and convenience, which also has a fridge to keep your drinks cooled in Summer. It has a dart board, pool table (6ft), table soccer and board games. It also has a comfortable furniture to relax in and a double sofa bed (if required for surplus guests).
